Android OS
The Thuraya SKYPHONE device runs on the Android 14 platform from Google. A range of Google applications and services are preinstalled on your device, for example Gmail, Google Maps, Google Chrome, Google Search and the Google Play Store which gives you access to a multitude of available 3rd party apps.
Display
The SKYPHONE comes equipped with a 6.67" AMOLED display made of glare resistant Gorilla® glass. The toughened glass also works while the display is wet or while you are wearing gloves.
