RTS
The Result Transmitting System (RTS) via Thuraya is a state of the art tablet-size device used for transmitting election results. It is touchscreen operated and connects to a polling station or any other data collection terminal via USB-cable, USB-stick, or via Wi-Fi. The election data is encrypted with AES128 algorithm for secure transmission. After connecting to the RTS terminal, the transmission of the compiled and encrypted data starts automatically to the countries’ secure data centre.
